Oh geez...

First off, I love the word "geez." It makes me laugh every time I hear/say it.

I woke up this morning and temped- there was a bit of a drop, but it's still above the coverline. No big deal. I had 45 more minutes to sleep, though, before I had to get up for work. I always have to pee after I take my temp (which is annoying). The last few days, when I pee, I've been feeling what seems to be ovulation pain in my right ovary, which I felt again this morning. THEN, they came. Out of the freaking blue, I had major cramps. MAJOR. I crawled back into bed and tried the fetal position to calm them down. It worked to a certain extent until I would move again. I tried getting ready for work, since I figured I could handle it for only 3 hours (a half day today), but I got super dizzy and felt like I was going to throw up as soon as I stood up. So, I had to call in. J got me some Tylenol Extra Strength (no advil for me in the 2ww!) and that seems to have done the trick for the most part. I wish I'd taken it from when they first started, though, so I could have gone to work. Oh well. I'm still getting painful twinges here and there, but nothing I can't handle (as in, I can walk now).

So, what the crap?!? I'm only 4 DPO (maybe 5, but that's still early). Why am I having these awful cramps? I have not started AF- I was thinking that maybe I did O when I had the massive amounts of EWCM even if my temps didn't rise dramatically. Even then, I'd only be 9 DPO. I was doing so good at not over-analyzing this cycle! Ugh!

Confirmed!

I have ovulated. Woo-hoo! So, now I'm 3 DPO and testing on the 14th, which also happens to be Valentine's Day, if you didn't know. I had some pretty hardcore ovulation pain this month, so that's exciting (I guess). I'm just so happy right now that I've got some crosshairs AND I'm not feeling the same crampiness that I did last cycle around this time (and throughout the 2ww). Those were punks, getting me all excited. I guess I have moved on from the Cycle 1 excitement. Tonight, we're heading to a nice dinner to celebrate J's parents' 29th wedding anniversary. We made them a new version of their wedding album, and we're pretty stoked to give it to them. We took their old one, which was fading and completely falling apart, about a month before our wedding (July 08) to scan/make copies to display at the actual wedding. What they did not know was that we did this for all of their pictures (there's only like 15) and made them a digital photo book from Shutterfly.  It came out great. We've been holding it hostage for 5 months!! Now, let's hope we can find it amidst our boxes of clutter. Yeah, we haven't unpacked yet. Getting closer to that point, though. We got our granite today!

6 months!

Today, we have officially been married 6 months! How crazy! It's been an amazing few months with so many changes! I would have never imagined (hoped, but not believed) that we would be in our own house trying to make our own little baby right now! I love it. These past 6 months have flown by, but I can still remember our wedding so clearly. We had so much fun that night, and we're still enjoying ourselves now. Here's a wedding pic to commemorate:

Our first dance to "My Valentine" by Martina McBride. It's been "our song" since the very beginning of our relationship (a little over 6 1/2 years ago!).

Now that I've wrote that, it would be so perfect for us to get our BFP on Valentine's Day. Another little Valentine to add to our family. Tomorrow's temperature should give me my crosshairs- a little 1/2 anniversary present. It would be so amazing to concieve around our 6 month ann. and find out on V-Day!!
